James Jimenez - Owner/Director

​James founded the California Suncats in 2015 and to date he has helped over 75 athletes realize their goal of playing college softball: 50 of those athletes to D1 college programs. Prior to establishing California Suncats, James has coached and directed softball organizations since 2003.  He has multiple top ten finishes at elite tournaments across the country including a 16U TC National Championship in 2022. 

David Gutierrez

David has over 14 years coaching experience across all age groups. He has earned two CCS titles as co associate head coach of Gilroy High School and multiple high-level finishes at elite travel ball tournaments. David also brings his recruiting experience and defensive instruction to the program. 

George Plascencia

With 17+ years of coaching experience George brings a high level of energy and experience to the program. He has multiple top ten finishes & appearances at PGF nationals. He also specializes in defense and fundamental clinics.  ​
